  1. Romeo and Juiliet have kind of the same storyline. Pyramus and Thisbe wanted to get married and be together but their parents wouldn’t let it happen.

  2. I agree. Pyramus and Thisbe seems almost like a carbon copy of Romeo and Juliet. The wall that was described could almost be the same as the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet, it was the space where they could communicate but not come in to physical contact. But Pyramus and Thisbe lacks any similarity to the scene where Romeo has to run away.

  3. The novel Pyramus and Thisbe relates to the storyline of Romeo and Juliet because it involves two lovers that are not allowed to be together because of there parents enemies. Both novels talk about how the lovers manage to stay in contact as much as they can even though most of the time they can’t be with eachother physically.

  4. I also agreen with the first comment, the storyline was kind of the same as romeo and juiliet. In both stories, people stuggle with there family’s acceptice to who they love and who they want to spend the rest of there lives with.

  5. “Romeo and Juliet” has a similar storyline to “Pyramus and Thisbe”. This is because there was struggle, love for one another, and they both communicated through a hole in the wall.

  6. I noticed that the second comment stated that Pyramus and Thisbe seems almost like a carbon copy of Romeo and Juliet. Pyramus and Thisbe was written before Romeo and Juliet and background information states that Shakespeare was inspired to write Romeo and Juliet based on the myth Pyramus and Thisbe.
